Objective: To demonstrate the distillery’s rural roots and infatuation with ‘grain to glass’.
How we did it: R&R pre-photographed the harvesting of barley, wheat and rye, and its delivery by boat from the farm to the distillery’s doors. Media were then invited to tour the farm, chew the fresh grain, and watch the distillery’s spent grains being fed to the cows, a truly holistic process.
Results:
Attendees from drink, food and lifestyle media as well as local radio
Coverage achieved from all attendees, including a full page on grain to glass spirits in Fine Food Digest and a 4-page article in GIN magazine
